I was born in 1961 in Union Beach into a family of artists. It was a household where painting and drawing were natural acts. I am an award-winning exhibitor and member of the Miniature Art Society of New Jersey. I studied art and exhibited work in the computer art show in 1990 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. In 1992, I studied special effects makeup at the School of Visual Arts, NYC, and studied cartooning and airbrush techniques at Joe Kubert School in Dover. I have painted and sculpted props for the Six Flags Great Adventure theme parks, and Custom Creations in New Jersey prop companies. In the beauty trade I am an award winning nail artist and also published two trade books on nail art. My work has been featured in the New York Times, Nails, Nailpro and Airbrush Action magazines which led to an appearance on the Vicki Lawrence TV show in 1997. I worked for the Walt Disney Galleries from 1994 to 1998, where I painted animation scenes on jewelry that was sold in Disney shops throughout the country, including in Caesars Palace, Las Vagas, and the flagship store in New York City.
